Small holes cause if not enough gel left on the nail plate to allow for excursion during curing. 4. Don't overwork the gel, as this can lead to air bubbles or uneven curing. 5. Check the icle and sidewall lines to be sure no gel touches the skin. 6. You should leave a small margin around the ice and sidewall line. 7. Place the nail tip in the UV light for a full 3 minutes to completely cure the gel. 8. Apply a second gel coat and cure for 3 minutes. 9.
