Skywatcher Skymax-127 OTA Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope is a compact and powerful telescope for planetary and deep-sky observations. The telescope can also be used very well for daytime observations and photography. With 127mm opening, the telescope already collects more than 55% more light than a refractor with 102mm opening. The telescope is still very portable. The tube is only 33cm long, despite the considerable focal length of 1500mm. The Skymax-127 features a compact but extremely powerful, high-contrast, high-resolution diffraction-limited optical system. It feature high-transmission multi-coatings are employed on all optical surfaces for optimum performance. It is well supported by compact parallactic and azimuthal mounts.
