INSTALLATION: If you have never removed or installed this switch, there's no need to pay for professional installation. It is a simple 5-minute job. Carefully pry up the plastic switch cover or bezel. The switch is attached to it with screws, and the door wiring is connected via a tabbed wire connector. Remove the old switch without pulling on the wires. You may need to depress a release tab with a small screwdriver. Plug in the new switch and test it. Transfer the cover to the new switch and reinstall it into the door. Installation is complete. PLASTIC MOLDING COVERING SWITCH (OR "BEZEL"): This is a separate piece that easily detaches from the switch being replaced. You do not need to purchase the bezel or a used switch with the bezel attached unless your current bezel is damaged or missing.
