40dB Wideband RF Preamplifier

This RF preamplifier delivers 40 dB typical gain across a broad 10 MHz to 6 GHz frequency range, with a noise figure of approximately 5 dB. Its enclosure is made from machined aluminum alloy, offering mechanical strength, thermal resilience, and electromagnetic shielding. Signal I/O uses precision SMA female connectors (50 Ω), and power is provided via a USB Type-C port operating at 5 V DC. The package contains one LNA unit and one compatible Type-C power cable. It is engineered for signal-chain improvement in applications where weak signal recovery is critical: improving FM radio reception in rural or shielded buildings, accelerating GPS satellite lock in urban canyons, supporting calibrated EMC measurement antennas, and extending the usable sensitivity of software-defined radios used in amateur radio, IoT protocol analysis, or academic research.
