To beef things up, we made these lip balms broad spectrum SPF to protect your lips from UVA and UVB rays by using a healthy dose of zinc oxide for sun protection. Which, by the way, is oxybenzone-free and the same stuff we use in our reef friendly sunscreens. We love it when skin care and earth care overlap. Unlike conventional chemical sunscreens that can be harmful to humans and marine life, All Good mineral sunscreen products are made with the active ingredient, zinc oxide. Zinc oxide is a topical, non-nanoparticle, mineral-based ingredient that sits on top of your skin (protection by reflection); it is one of only two ingredients that has been FDA-approved for general recognition of safety and effectiveness (GRASE).
