Setup: You must configure the module after installation. When the ignition is turned on, the display counts backwards (6 to 1), indicating that the memory is clear. - Lift the rear wheel off the ground with a stand and start the engine in neutral. Select first gear, release the clutch and keep the rpm above idle speed. The display will flash faster as the device learns gear. -When the display shows "2", select the two-position. Repeat this process until all gears have been selected (5 or 6). The device is programmed and should indicate the gears correctly.
