IntimSpa XTERM is a thermostatic mixer with a temperature control knob of mixed water scaled in degrees C. It works by mixing cold and hot water connected to it to the desired temperature. It can be used for bidetta valves, as well as non-contact washbasin faucets (without mixer) or showers, e.g. for children and the elderly to avoid burns. The mixer is equipped with a mechanical burn lock - set at 38 °C. To get water at a higher temperature, press the lock button and turn the knob. The mixer has built-in check valves on cold and hot water inlets. Check valves prevent water from flowing through the mixer in case of pressure difference or lack of cold or hot water (so-called. backflow). For example, if there is no cold water supply, if there was no check valve, hot water could start flowing into the cold water pipes, resulting in increased consumption and costs. The mixer has a built-in burn protection. For example, when we set a safe temperature of 38 °C and there is no cold water supply, the valve will automatically cut off the hot water supply, i.e. the mixer will not feed the water at the output. One IntimSpa XTERM thermostatic mixing valve can handle up to 2 or 3 devices mentioned above (depending on the water pressure in the network).
