The effects of mint oil have long been known in Asia. It is recommended for problems related to the throat, nose, and pharynx (cough, cold, hoarseness, laryngitis); to stimulate cardiac activity and circulation; as an antispasmodic in cases of stomach upset; effective against stomach pain and nausea; and stimulates the biliary function of the liver.
