Fistula for Sodastream System Quick Connect Fistula for filling pink cartridges with valve Quick Connect. Used in water saturators Sodastream models: Duo, Art, Terra. Each fistula in the kit includes spare gaskets. A cylinder with a siphon is required to fill 425g cartridges. If you have a cylinder without a siphon before opening the valve, turn it upside down so that liquid carbon dioxide is forced into the cartridge. To fill the cartridge to full, i.e. push 425g of carbon dioxide into it, the cartridge should be cold (it can be put in the freezer). Do not overfill the cartridge (inject more than 425g into it) this may cause the safety valve to open. Bullet filling procedure: Screw the fistula into the cylinder. Insert the cartridge into the Quick Connect slot. Check that the vent valve is turned off if not, turn it off. Gently unscrew the valve in the cylinder (you will hear hissing). After the filling process is complete, turn off the cylinder. Unscrew the vent - you will hear hissing for 1 second (if it hisses all the time, you did not turn off the cylinder). Remove the cartridge from the Quick Connect slot.
