URS-14T Urinalysis reagent strips x 100 (14 Parameters). The 14 Parameters are: Leukocytes: Aka white blood cells. Indicates presence of infection. Nitrites: May be a sign of urinary tract infection or other infection. Protein (Albumin): Test for kidney function. pH: Measures urine acidity, associated with higher risk of kidney stones. Blood: Can result from infection, injury, inflammation, kidney stones, or cancer. Specific Gravity: Evaluates body's water balance & urine concentration. Ketones: Disorders of increased metabolism & also by unbalanced diets such as high protein / low carb, anorexia, or fasting. Bilirubin: Could indicate liver or gallbladder problems such as gallstones, hepatitis, cirrhosis, or tumors. Urobilinogen: Checks for liver disease. Glucose: The most common test for diabetes. Creatinine: it is measured to assess your overall kidney function. Creatinine will be show as a purple colour in reaction with 3,5-Dinitrobenzoic Acid Micro Albumin: with tolerance principle, uses highly sensitive sulfone phthalein dye Ascorbate Calcium Directions for use: Collect fresh urine sample in a clean, dry container. Remove one reagent strip from the bottle & quickly replace the container cap. Immerse the reagent area of the strip into the urine sample & take it out quickly. Wipe off excess urine against the rim of the specimen container. Compare the colour change of the reagent pads to the corresponding colour chart on the bottle label. Read results according to the chart.
