There is a 7mm OD sidewall between the neck and the threaded part to hold the heatbreaks and nozzles more stably; the sidewall has two cutouts for you to easily unscrew the heatbreaks from the heating block with a 6mm wrench. These heat breakers are made of titanium alloy TC4, which provides good thermal isolation between the heater and the cooling block. Titanium is a very strong material, providing 3 times lower thermal conductivity than steel, creating a more defined melt zone.
