How To Replace a Band Saw Tire?<br> 1. Unplug the band saw, loosen the saw blade tension, and remove the blade. Then remove the band saw wheel.<br> 2. Once removed, completely remove or cut the old tire and any residue left behind.<br> 3. Slide part of the new tire onto the wheel rim, then insert a short rod or pipe between the tire and wheel. Roll the pipe around the rim to evenly stretch the tire.<br> 4. Apply a small amount of adhesive to a brush and coat both the tire and wheel surface. Roll and repeat around the entire rim.
