1. Don't worry about odors Some mats give off a chemical plastic smell when unpacked. This smell is due to the fact that we store the carpets wrapped in plastic wrap in our warehouse. 2. Don't worry about that smell which is NOT toxic and will dissipate in a few days. To make the smell go away even faster, place your mat in a well-ventilated area 3. Lay your carpet correctly Does your carpet have unsightly wrinkles or waves? No panic! Our mats are stored rolled up or folded and will take some time to fully flatten. You can speed up the process by unrolling the rug several times (pile facing out). Don't rush: give your new accessory a few days to acclimate. 4. Cleaning advice: coffee Soak up as much coffee as possible with a cotton cloth or paper towel. Then treat the stain with a diluted ammonia solution. 5. Cleaning tip: red wine If possible, immediately dab up as much liquid as possible with a cotton cloth or paper towel. Then treat the stain with a special stain remover.
