Step 1: Remove the red cap on the end of the probe and turn on the tester. Step 2: Insert the probe into the soil 3-5 inches Step 3: Adjust the position of the probe until the tester is fixed in the soil to be tested. Step 4: Read the moisturebrH/lightlevel/temperature data in the dial for about 10 seconds. Slide the switch on the back to pH or position as desired. Step 5: Remove probe from soil and wipe clean after each use. Note: Do not put items in liquid for testing. Be careful not to blockthe light sensor on top of the meter when measuring light.
