Pure Organic Cocoa in defatted powder (10-12% fat) from Organic Farming and Fair Trade.
This cocoa, unlike others, has not been treated with potassium carbonate or sodium hydroxide. It is 100% natural, not alkalized.
Cocoa was already cultivated by the Mayans more than 2,500 years ago. Cacao comes from the Mayan language: - cac, which means red (in reference to the color of the fruit's shell), and cau, which expresses the ideas of strength and fire. Cocoa is excellent against sadness, anxiety and irritability, because it contains theobromine, caffeine and theophylline that stimulate various physiological actions including that of the nervous system and blood circulation.
Studies carried out by international institutions have highlighted that cocoa has beneficial qualities for health.
