Some patients are considered difficult due to small or deep veins, making it hard for healthcare professionals to identify an appropriate site quickly and efficiently. Repeated attempts can cause discomfort and may affect patient confidence in the phlebotomist. This device is designed to assist in visualizing veins, making it useful for small clinics, medical facilities, collectors, and hobbyists. It is intended for general use in supporting vein location with minimal attempts. How to Use: Step 1: Minimize ambient light. A dark environment provides optimal results. Press the button on the bottom of the device to activate the infrared LED. Step 2: Gently press the device against the skin and slowly move it from side to side. Veins will appear as dark lines or shadows at the periphery of the red glow emitted by the device. Note: The device must remain in direct contact with the skin to function properly. Lifting it away from the skin will not produce visible results. Step 3: Once a vein is located (shown as dark lines), adjust the position of the device around the area to achieve the clearest visualization. For shallow veins, slightly increase the distance between the device and the skin if the light appears too bright and obscures the vein. Follow the path of the vein to assess its full direction and length. Note: It is best to select a vein with a straight and clear path.
