Some patients are considered difficult due to small or deep veins, making it hard for healthcare professionals to identify an appropriate site quickly and efficiently. Multiple insertion attempts can cause discomfort and may affect patient confidence in the phlebotomist. This device is designed to assist in visualizing veins, making it useful for smaller clinics, medical facilities, collectors, and hobbyists. It is intended for general use in helping locate veins with fewer attempts. How to use: Step 1: Minimize ambient light. A dark environment provides optimal results. Press the button on the bottom of the device to activate the infrared LED. Step 2: Apply gentle hand pressure on the skin and slowly move the device from side to side. Veins will appear as shadows or dark lines at the periphery of the red glowing area. Note: The device must be in direct contact with the skin to function properly. Results will not be visible if lifted away from the skin. Step 3: Once a vein is located (shown as dark lines or shadows), adjust the position of the infrared light around that area to enhance visibility. For superficial veins, slightly increase the distance between the device and skin if the light appears too bright. Follow the vein path to determine its full direction and length.
