This product operates on a vehicle with 12 volts or 5-volt DC negative ground system. Do not use it on another voltage system. 2. This product only fits OEM or aftermarket car stereo with CD changer port and different solutions of Bluetooth adapter would be adopted according to different s of vehicles or different car radios. 3. Make sure the car stereo is powered off before installation. Otherwise, the car stereo may be damaged. It is suggested to install it in a car dealer shop or professional car stereo store. 4. Usually, the car stereo needs to be removed so as to plug the Bluetooth kit main connector into the CD changer port on the radio pack. For some car models, Bluetooth kits can be installed in the glove box or trunk where the external CD changer port is located. 5. Please read the car stereo wiring diagram carefully before installation (normally on the top side of the car stereo. Check and confirm where are the following ports on the back of the stereo: CD changer port, B+/Ub+/12V ACC port(different car stereos have different names. such as BAT, Bup+, B-U, MEM +12, KL.30), and GND port. Installation Steps 1. Turn off the car engine and remove the key from the ignition, if the car radio uses a security code, make sure that you have the code before unplugging the radio. 2. Unmount the radio from the dash in order to get access to the back side of the radio, and find the CD Changer port at the back of the radio. For details on unmounting, please refer to the car user manual or car stereo manual, or ask professional staff to unmount the radio. 3. Connect the wire harness to the car stereo radio module unit in advance. Be sure to make a firm connection. Then attach the wire harness connector to the back of the stereo to the CD changer port. 4. For some car models, connect the red wire to the B+/Ub+/12V ACC port (different car stereos have different names. such as BAT, Bup+, B-U, MEM +12, KL.30) or other correct ACC power or 5 / 12V battery power. Connect the black wire to the GND port of the head unit power module unit. 5. Turn on the car and power on the car Head Unit, press the CD (or Disc / Mode / CDC / SOURCE / AUX) button once or twice to switch to music play mode. 6. Turn on the Bluetooth function of the mobile phone, search and pair with a Bluetooth device named ''BT5909'', Mobile phone will be able to connect to BTA after being paired successfully. Test with a mobile phone to confirm whether Bluetooth music work normally. 7. After a successful test, re-assemble the radio, and put the wire harness and module unit box in the proper place (glove box, storage box, etc.), fasten the screws between the module unit and wire harness. Put the back car head unit into its original position. Now the installation is finished. Important Installation Notes 1. As to some vehicles with an external CD Changer, which occupies the original CD changer port, a Parallel Harness is needed to keep the use of the original CD changer (For some models only). 2. As for Clarion protocol radios, such as some Subaru radios and Suzuki radios, it requires totally unplugging the wire harness from car power before installation. Moreover, it is easy to plug the connector in the opposite direction on Clarion radios, which causes short circuits. Make sure the connector is plugged in the correct direction. 3. As for installation on CAN-Bus radios of Peugeot/Citroen, Renault, Ford (new) and Mazda (new), and Opel, it is required to unplug the radio from the power before installation.
