To use this governor, you may need to replace the Bluetooth board and controller. B. This product modifies the software settings to adjust speed. If your original motor is 250W, achieving higher speeds may be limited due to motor performance. The motor may not support speeds up to 38km/h. The governor has two speed modes: (1) Low speed mode up to 20km/h (factory default). (2) High speed mode up to 38km/h. Installation Steps 1. Turn off the scooter. 2. Remove the four screws located under the display on the stem. Keep these screws for reassembly. 3. Open the stem cover. Locate the display and the connected wire with a middle connector. Unplug the connector. 4. Insert the governor between the display and the wire, ensuring proper alignment to avoid damaging internal pins. 5. Place the governor inside the center of the stem and reinstall the four screws. 6. Press and hold the power button on the Bluetooth board to turn on the scooter. 7. Press the brake three times, then press the throttle three times. The governor will display "38", indicating the update process has started. Do not operate the scooter during this time. Wait until the display shows "0", indicating completion. Turn off the scooter, then restart it. The scooter should now reach speeds up to 38km/h. Perform a test ride to confirm functionality.
