However, calibrating the tool close to metal will reduce the metal sensitivity of the device. For maximum metal sensitivity, calibrate in air with a long press of the power button.AC Wired ModeAC wired mode finds live, unshielded electrical wires up to 2 inches (51mm) in length. depth.
