Thermal fuse with bracket, located on the element housing. Thermal cut-off fuse DC96-00887A shuts off the heating element when the dryer overheats.
If the dryer does not heat, the thermal fuse may be blown. The fuse is not resettable and will need to be replaced if blown.
The fuse can be tested using a volt - ohm meter.
