10 Pre-Poured Educational Agar Plates

These agar plates measure 7.0 × 7.0 × 1.0 cm (2.75 × 2.75 × 0.39 in) and are made from transparent agar. Each plate contains a thick, uniform layer of nutrient agar designed to support reliable microbial growth. They are pre-poured and ready for immediate use—no mixing, heating, or pouring required. The durable construction ensures stability during student handling and incubation. Their dimensions and formulation are optimised for classroom-based science projects, including environmental sampling, antibiotic testing, and basic culturing techniques used across UK primary and secondary curricula.
