1.27mm SOP8 DIP8 Programming Clip

Constructed from durable plastic and conductive metal, this test clip measures 30 x 4 x 2 cm and is purpose-built for 1.27 mm pitch ICs. It supports SOP8 packages in both wide-body and narrow-body configurations, as well as DIP-8 through-hole chips — covering the majority of legacy and modern 8-pin logic, memory, and microcontroller devices. Its primary use case is in-system programming and verification, especially where desoldering is impractical or prohibited. For chips implementing lock-bit or fuse-based protection, the clip requires external 3.3 V applied to pin 8 (VCC) to enable successful readout; the second conductor connects directly to ground. Slight variations in colour tone or measured size may occur between photographed samples and shipped units due to environmental and human factors — a normal characteristic of physical electronics tools.
