12mm Reusable Inline Water Strainer

This inline water strainer features dual 12mm male threads, a lightweight nylon body, and a tightly woven stainless steel mesh basket. Its total length is 67mm and maximum outer diameter is 27.5mm, enabling installation in constrained spaces behind utility sinks, inside narrow caravan underfloor compartments, or inline with compact electric pressure washers. Rated for cold water only, it performs reliably at pressures up to 6 bar and temperatures from 2°C to 35°C. The mesh retains particles typically above 120–180 microns — including sand grains, pipe scale fragments, solder residue, and organic biofilm clumps. Cleaning is accomplished by hand-tight twist separation, followed by rinsing the mesh under running water or light brushing. There are no O-rings to replace, no cartridges to order, and no recalibration needed after servicing. It functions solely as a pre-filter — never intended to replace activated carbon or reverse osmosis systems for taste, odour or dissolved contaminant removal. End users include DIY homeowners addressing gritty tap water, professional mobile valeters needing reliable rinse line protection across multiple client sites, and tradespeople installing new plumbing in renovation projects where post-installation debris poses a known risk to connected fixtures.
