12mm TwistOn Reusable Water Strainer

A compact inline water strainer with 12mm male threaded ends, built using corrosion-resistant nylon and a fine stainless steel mesh screen. Its twist-on body allows full separation of housing and filter element for manual cleaning without tools. Weighing under 80g and measuring approximately 65mm in length, it fits easily into confined installations behind sinks, under van sinks, or inline with portable pressure washers. Intended for cold potable water systems operating at typical household pressures (up to 6 bar), it delivers mechanical particulate removal only — no chemical treatment or scale inhibition. It serves as a first-line defence against silt, pipe scale, rust flakes and installation debris entering sensitive components. Because it is fully reusable and requires no replacement parts, maintenance involves only periodic rinsing under running water or gentle brushing of the mesh. Commonly deployed in UK homes to improve tap water clarity, in leisure vehicles to protect freshwater pumps from well or tank-sourced water, and in commercial mobile car wash units where inlet water quality varies unpredictably between sites.
