200A Brass-Cooled PV Rectifier Module

Rated for 200A continuous forward current and 1600V reverse blocking voltage, this common cathode rectifier module uses brass terminals and ABS housing for optimal balance of conductivity, corrosion resistance, and structural integrity. Physical footprint is optimised for dense mounting in photovoltaic combiner boxes and DC switchgear. Electrical specifications include 12mA positive and 20mA negative leakage current under rated conditions, and a dielectric strength of 2500V AC between terminals and case. The semiconductor junction is rated up to 150°C, supporting reliable operation in high-ambient environments typical of rooftop and ground-mount solar installations. Engineered specifically for photovoltaic DC applications, it integrates seamlessly into combiner boxes, DC distribution cabinets, and central inverter input stages. Its welded internal architecture provides superior mechanical stability versus soldered or spring-contact alternatives, maintaining low contact resistance over thousands of thermal cycles. Brass-based thermal conduction path enables efficient heat transfer from the silicon die to the mounting surface — reducing thermal impedance and delaying thermal runaway onset during overload or partial shading events.
