200A PV Anti-Reflection Diode Module

Engineered as an anti-reflection (bypass) diode for photovoltaic systems, this common cathode rectifier module supports up to 200A forward current and blocks up to 1600V reverse voltage. Constructed with ABS housing and brass terminals, it balances mechanical rigidity, electrical efficiency and thermal dissipation. Electrical characteristics include 12mA and 20mA leakage currents, 2500V AC insulation voltage, and a maximum junction temperature rating of 150°C. Its 3-terminal configuration simplifies wiring in combiner boxes and DC cabinets, and its compact size facilitates retrofitting into legacy solar infrastructure. The welded internal structure ensures consistent electrical performance over time — resisting degradation caused by thermal cycling, humidity ingress, or mechanical vibration. This stability is essential for bypass diodes, which must remain functional for 25+ years while exposed to wide ambient temperature swings and UV exposure inside enclosures. Brass terminals provide dual functionality: low-resistance current conduction and efficient heat extraction from the semiconductor junction — reducing thermal stress and prolonging service life in high-current, high-temperature PV DC applications.
