20A High-Power Adjustable Boost Module

This 1200W DC-DC boost module accepts 8–60V DC input and delivers continuously adjustable 12–80V DC output, rated for up to 20A input and output current. It employs a double iron-silicon-aluminium core transformer wound with four 1.2mm pure copper wires, paired with 100V/210A low-resistance power MOSFETs. Safety features include input MOSFET protection, overcurrent protection, and short-circuit protection. Thermal performance is enhanced by a thickened heatsink and an intelligent fan that activates based on temperature. Efficiency reaches up to 95%, varying with input-output voltage differential and load. The module operates at 150kHz switching frequency and functions reliably between -40°C and +85°C. Quiescent current is just 15mA. Constant current mode covers 0.5–20A. Output power depends on input voltage (e.g., 60V × 20A = 1200W theoretical max). Mounting requires four 3mm screws. Important usage notes: input must be ≥8V; output voltage must exceed input voltage in CC mode; never short-circuit output terminals to tune current; always de-energise before connecting/disconnecting load.
