BP5: Use only for compatible light-duty assemblies; check load, temperature, chemical exposure and thread engagement.. || PRODUCT DESCRIPTION SUMMARY: These M16 x 1000 mm white PTFE threaded rods are the largest PTFE size in this 1000 mm range, supplied as two fully threaded plastic bars. The broad M16 thread suits large-format light-duty spacing, alignment, isolation and custom non-metallic assemblies where a plastic threaded rod is preferred. PTFE offers low friction, electrical insulation and broad chemical compatibility, but it is softer and less rigid than steel and can creep under sustained load. Use for compatible light-duty work, cut to length if required, and check load, temperature and chemical exposure before use.
