32 Oz Wide-Mouth Fermentation Kit

A purpose-built 32 oz (946 ml) fermentation system built around a wide-mouth transparent glass jar (~15 cm × ~9 cm, ±1–3 cm tolerance), a stainless steel fermentation lid with central airlock port, a set of dense, smooth-surface glass fermentation weights, and a food-grade polycarbonate airlock. Total unit weight approx. 680 g. All components are manufactured to exacting tolerances for mutual fit and functional synergy. Water-filled airlock enables passive, continuous CO₂ release while forming an impermeable barrier against environmental microbes — critical for achieving stable lactic acid dominance and preventing Kahm yeast or mould formation. Once fermentation slows, the silicone plug inserts directly into the lid’s port to convert the jar into an airtight storage vessel — retaining crunch, acidity, and viable cultures. Used successfully for traditional Eastern European sauerkraut, Korean-style kimchi, fermented garlic paste, beet kvass, and lacto-fermented fruit chutneys — offering scalable control whether preparing a single jar or building a rotation of active and resting batches.
