32A 1000V Solar DC Isolator

This DC isolator is specified for photovoltaic applications up to 1000 V and 32 A, with compact dimensions of ~9.5 × 5.5 × 10.5 cm (±1–3 cm) and a rugged plastic enclosure. Internally, it utilises a copper coil for stable DC conduction, a tactile ergonomic handle for reliable manual operation, and a transparent viewing window for unambiguous switch-state identification. Achieves IP65 ingress protection — fully dust-tight and resistant to water sprayed from any angle — making it fit for permanent outdoor deployment in UK climatic zones. Integrates overvoltage and overload protection logic, and allows integration with building management or solar monitoring systems via remote control terminals. Purpose-built for PV string isolation: mounts easily using built-in 35 mm DIN rail or pre-drilled holes, and connects directly to panels and inverters via included waterproof MC4 connectors. Deployed across residential solar arrays, off-grid cabins, and mobile renewable energy systems including narrowboats and expedition vehicles. Package comprises one 32 A / 1000 V DC isolator, four waterproof MC4 connectors, and one calibrated wrench meeting manufacturer-specified torque values.
