360° High-Accuracy Wind Direction Sensor

This wind direction sensor measures azimuth across the full 0–359° range with ±3° accuracy and 1° resolution. Its compact ABS housing measures 223 × 190 × 70 mm and weighs just 375 g, making it lightweight yet robust for outdoor deployment. It operates on a wide DC9–30V power supply, consumes only up to 0.48W, and features RS485 output compliant with Modbus RTU protocol (default address 2, baud rate 9600 bps, 8N1). The sensor starts responding at low wind speeds (≤0.8 m/s), is rated IP64 for dust and splash resistance, and functions reliably in extreme conditions from −35°C to +60°C at ≤100% RH (non-condensing). A 0.8 m cable with colour-coded wiring (red/black/yellow/green) simplifies integration. Designed for permanent mounting via 3.2 mm aperture and 15 mm aerial insert — recommend reserving 25 mm clearance for wiring before final fixing. Widely used in gardens, greenhouses, weather stations, aquaculture, marine environments, airports, ports, agriculture and environmental monitoring.
