It also has memory function, you do not have to continually redo the settings every night. You can set Timer by pressing the TIMER button on the remote control, our led light strip will be 6 hours on and 18 hours off automatically cycle every day, so you don't need to turn them on and off, they are just there for you to enjoy. The adhesive backing on the strip is sticky enough to attach to the clean surface. Very easy to install, just pull off the blue layer(Not the white gum) and stick it to where you prefer. The lights strip is flexible, very small and thin so no one will notice that. LED strip lights battery operated can be cut to suitable length.
