NEED TO KNOW FILTER 2.0 is designed for EVERSWEET 1 and 2 fountains. If you have the EVERSWEET WATER FOUNTAIN 1, please purchase the NEW TRAY separately. FILTER 2.0 is compatible only with the NEW TRAY and FOUNTAIN 1. Enhanced Filtration FILTER 2.0 uses Purolite® filter material as a key component and contains an increased amount of filtration media, improving performance in removing hair, debris, and heavy metals from water. Four-Stage Filtration The filter consists of: - Two layers of high-quality cotton mesh - Coconut shell activated carbon - Ion exchange resin Usage Instructions Before installing the filter, soak it in cold water for 5 minutes to activate the ion exchange resin. After installation, press and hold the black reset button on the bottom of the fountain to turn off the orange indicator light. Filter Replacement Schedule Replace the filter every 3 months in SMART mode or every 1 month in NORMAL mode. The indicator light will turn orange when replacement is due.
