Wash hands and wear disposable gloves. 2. Gently massage the earlobe for 45 seconds to reduce sensation, then clean with a disinfecting wipe. 3. Open the package. Position the device on the earlobe as shown in Figure 3. Press firmly on the end of the bolt until the wings snap off, which drives the stud through the earlobe and into the backing. 4.
