5-Speed Forward 3-Speed Reverse Switch

Unit measures 4.9 × 5.7 × 7.8 cm (1.93 × 2.24 × 3.07 inches) and operates at 12V DC. Designed for universal integration with electric outboard motors ranging from 28 lb to 86 lb thrust — covering mainstream UK models such as 36 lb, 50 lb, 68 lb and 86 lb variants. Housing: durable black plastic with integrated cable routing and strain relief. Wiring: pre-fitted, insulated, and clearly marked for polarity. Enables deliberate, repeatable speed changes — five forward gears for progressive acceleration and fine-tuned cruising; three reverse gears for controlled backing, mooring alignment or emergency reversal. All switching stages are rated for continuous duty under nominal load conditions. Targeted at practical boating users: anglers managing quiet approach speeds, paddlers adding motor assist to tandem kayaks, and marina staff deploying tenders in congested berthing areas — where predictable, low-noise speed modulation matters more than raw power.
