5A Digital PWM Motor Controller

This compact motor speed controller is housed in durable ABS plastic and designed for DC power inputs from 5V to 30V, with integrated reverse-polarity protection to prevent accidental damage during wiring. Its rated continuous current is 5A, with capacity to handle short-duration peaks up to 15A. The duty cycle is fully adjustable from 0% to 100%, with a default resolution of 1% per step. Stability is ensured by dual original low-Rds(on) MOSFETs and a matched pre-driver stage — supporting robust performance across voltage and load variations. Speed is adjusted via a digital encoder knob, offering superior repeatability and zero positional drift compared to traditional potentiometers. The soft-start function ramps current progressively at power-up, avoiding torque shock and protecting motor insulation and brushes. Operation is intuitive: use the built-in push-button for manual on/off control, or connect an external momentary switch (self-resetting type) for remote or panel-mounted activation. The unit defaults to powered-on state and runs at 20 kHz PWM frequency out-of-the-box — optimised for noise reduction and motor compatibility. Standard 5135 front and rear covers simplify mounting and enclosure integration.
