6-80V 1600W BLDC Motor Controller

This brushless DC motor controller operates within a wide input voltage range of 6–80V DC and delivers up to 1600W continuous power with a rated current of 20A (peak 50A). The PCB-based module features a compact, bare-board design with no enclosure. It uses the SNR8503M dedicated BLDC driver IC, enabling efficient non-Hall sensor (sensorless) commutation, minimal external components, and straightforward setup. Key interfaces include PWM speed control (1–20 kHz frequency, 10–100% duty cycle), onboard potentiometer (0.5–5V analog input), UART serial communication for advanced control, FG tachometer feedback (RPM = FG frequency × 60 ÷ pole count), CW/CCW direction selection (open = clockwise, grounded = counterclockwise), and a firmware update interface. Status is indicated via onboard LEDs for standby, operation, and error conditions. Thermal management is adaptive: passive cooling suffices below 5A; forced airflow or heatsinking is required above 5A. Built-in protections include reverse polarity protection, overcurrent protection, and stall protection. Suitable for pumps, compressors, fans, electric tools, automatic doors, air/water pumps, refrigeration systems, lawn mowers, sprayers, and underwater thrusters.
