60GHz Millimeter Wave Radar Sensor FMCW Module for Fall Detection and Elderly Care

FMCW Radar Module and LD6002C Core module: The FMCW Radar Module can detect one person at a time. It operates at 3.3V (typical) and draws 1 A. Transmitting power is 12 dBm, using FMCW modulation, with an antenna gain of 4 dBi. Data output is provided in Serial ASCII format. Applications and environments: This radar sensor is suitable for nursing care facilities (including toilets and bathrooms), home security systems, and comprehensive home intelligence units. Its function and design support a wide range of environments requiring enhanced security and monitoring. LD6002C overview: The LD6002C is a 60G millimeterwave radar module based on FMCW (Frequency Modulated ContinuousWave) radar. Integrated with advanced radar signal processing algorithms, it provides accurate sensing of an individual's status in a specified location and supports timely fall detection, making it an essential asset for smart home systems or healthcare facilities. Detection and performance: LD6002C offers a detection angle of ±60 degrees azimuth and ±60 degrees pitch, with an effective detection distance of less than 2 meters when mounted between 2.2 meters and 3 meters. Fall recognition accuracy is typical at 90%. Use scenarios Nursing care facilities and in bathroom areas to monitor resident presence and safety. Home security systems needing noncamera presence monitoring and alerting for unusual activity. Smart home and healthcare facilities where reliable status sensing and fall detection support safety workflows.
