7-Inch Barndoor With Snoot Support

A modular barn door kit engineered for 7-inch reflector heads common in European studio workflows. Contains four 1/4 colour correction gels (CTB, CTO, plus two warm/cool creative gels), four precision-ground steel leaves with dual-axis pivot points, and a threaded snoot interface ring. Overall footprint: 18 cm wide × 12 cm tall × 6 cm deep. Weight: 320 g. Surface finish: electrostatically applied matte black enamel, tested to ISO 20471 for non-reflectivity. Compatible with Bowens S-Type, Falcon Eyes, and similar 7-inch reflector mounts. Leaves adjust independently with calibrated resistance — no play or backlash — and lock in place via friction washers. Gels sit flush in a front-access frame with bevelled edges to prevent snagging. Snoot ring aligns coaxially with reflector axis, ensuring beam integrity. Internal baffles reduce secondary reflections, improving contrast ratio by up to 18% versus un-baffled equivalents (measured using Sekonic L-858D at 1 m). Frequently deployed in UK e-commerce studios for lifestyle product shots (e.g., kitchenware, cosmetics), in education settings for lighting workshops, and by freelance photographers covering weddings and corporate events where portable, repeatable lighting is essential — all within typical UK domestic studio spaces (≤ 4 m² floor area).
