Fingerprint algorithms extract features from acquired fingerprint images, representing fingerprint information. Fingerprint processing involves two processes: fingerprint registration and fingerprint matching. During fingerprint registration, each fingerprint is recorded twice, and a composite template is stored in the module. Fingerprint matching includes fingerprint comparison (1:1) and fingerprint search (1:N) methods. Power supply voltage is DC 3.3V, with an operating current of <60mA and a peak current of <60mA. Fingerprint storage, comparison, and searching are all accomplished by manipulating fingerprint features. During fingerprint matching, the fingerprint image to be verified is recorded through the fingerprint sensor and processed. Then, it is compared with the fingerprint template in the module (if it matches with a single template specified in the module, it is called fingerprint comparison, i.e., 1:1 method; if it matches with multiple templates, it is called fingerprint search, i.e., 1:N method). The module provides a matching result (pass or fail). Fingerprint image entry time is <1.0 second, with a window area of 15.3 x 18.2 mm and a resolution of 500dpi.
