Backwashable 40-Micron Central Water Pre Filter

Engineered for reliable, low-maintenance whole-house sediment protection, this central prefilter uses a 40-micron 304L stainless steel mesh filter element housed in a lead-free brass head and German-manufactured, food-grade transparent PC shell — rigorously tested to 150,000 water hammer cycles and 1000 PSI maximum pressure. Supports G3/4 or G1/2 MNPT thread connections (both adapters provided). Operates at 0.1–1.0 MPa pressure, handles up to 3000 L/H flow, and functions safely from 0°C to 40°C — ideal for UK mains, borehole or private well supplies. Its unique manual rotating scraper enables rapid on-site backwashing: open the integrated sewage valve and rotate the scraper to clear sediment buildup — no tools, no pipe removal, no system shutdown. A built-in pressure gauge provides constant feedback on inlet pressure, supporting timely response to developing issues such as partial clogging or supply anomalies. Serves as the foundational layer of water treatment — intercepting abrasive particles before they wear valves, erode showerheads, foul heat exchangers or blind RO membranes — thereby lowering lifetime ownership costs across plumbing, heating and purification systems.
