Beeswax-Coated Cotton Bread Bags

A pair of large-capacity (17 x 12 inches), reusable bread storage bags made from undyed, GOTS-certified organic cotton, coated with a food-safe emulsion of UK-sourced beeswax, cold-pressed jojoba oil, and sustainably tapped rosin. The finish is hand-applied and heat-set for even adhesion, resulting in a matte, slightly grippy surface that grips bread skins without sticking — ideal for removing crusty loaves cleanly after storage. Designed for functional longevity: cotton weave density prevents wax migration over time; coating remains flexible below 5°C (freezer-safe) and stable up to 30°C (pantry-safe), with no melting, cracking, or discolouration observed in 12-month field trials across 17 UK households. Each bag includes subtle edge stitching to prevent fraying and improve roll-up stability for compact storage between uses. Intended for conscious consumers who prioritise transparency, durability, and tangible impact: replaces ~150 single-use plastic or paper bags annually per household, reduces reliance on energy-intensive recycling streams, and supports ethical apiculture through certified wax sourcing — all while delivering measurable freshness gains for everyday baking routines.
