Apply grease or low-strength threadlocker to the thread adapter. 2. Use Park Tool SPA-2 or equivalent 2.3mm pin spanner to tighten the thread adapter into the fork. The flange must be on the outside. 3. Apply grease to the O-ring of the thru hole insert and install it into the fork from the outside using a combined pushing and twisting motion. Do not use the thru axle to drive the insert into the fork. 4. Apply grease to the threads of the thru axle. Tighten to a torque of 9–13.5 N·m using a 5mm hex key.
