If the shower valve has a thermostatic cartridge there will usually be two of this ceramic disk cartridges installed on either side of the cartridge, therefore if you need both you'll need to buy two as the cartridges are sold individually.This cartridge is a 3/4" (inch) quarter turn on / off, with ceramic discs which turn anti clockwise.
