The AD9833 is a low-power programmable waveform generator capable of producing sine, triangle, and square wave outputs. It is suitable for applications such as waveform detection, signal generation, and time domain reflectometry (TDR), where precise and stable frequency and phase control are required. The device is software programmable and requires no external components.The frequency register is 28 bits wide. With a 25 MHz reference clock, frequency resolution is 0.1 Hz; when clocked at 1 MHz, resolution improves to approximately 0.004 Hz.The AD9833 features a standard serial interface compatible with various microprocessors and DSPs.
