Drivetrain Damping Rubber Buffer Kit

A four-piece black rubber buffer kit designed exclusively for rear wheel drive systems on BMW F650GS (2008–2018), F700GS (2013–2017), and F800GS platforms (2008–2017, including 2014–2017 ADV). Buffers measure uniformly and are moulded from homogeneous rubber with calibrated elasticity — not foam or blended compounds. Total set weight is approx. 0.3 kg; each unit is ready to install using original equipment mounting points and bolts. No lubricants, adhesives, or adjustments are needed — simply replace worn or hardened OEM buffers with these direct-fit units. Each buffer functions as a passive damper at the sprocket-to-hub interface. Its elasticity compresses slightly under torque, smoothing out abrupt power pulses from the engine and mitigating resonance caused by irregular road surfaces. Simultaneously, the rubber’s surface properties reduce relative sliding velocity between mating parts, lowering both mechanical noise and wear-inducing friction. Grip is achieved via natural tack and conformal pressure distribution — not chemical bonding — ensuring serviceability and clean removal during future maintenance. Suited to owners performing scheduled drivetrain refreshes, restoring factory-level smoothness after years of use, or addressing known vibration issues linked to aged or brittle original buffers.
