Dual 16A Outdoor Socket IP66 Weatherproof

Compact 118 × 78 × 55 mm form factor with 280 g weight; 16A rated capacity; certified IP66 — fully sealed against dust and high-pressure water jets; constructed from durable, UV-stabilised polycarbonate; features integrated silicone rubber gasket ensuring continuous seal integrity even with cables inserted; grey switch loop mechanically locks cover shut while reinforcing water resistance; two dedicated padlock holes enable physical access control; cable entry accommodates conductors up to 2.5 mm²; spacious interior allows tidy, code-compliant wiring for single or twin-core cables. The locking hole system prevents unintended operation — especially valuable near children’s play areas or commercial sites. The switch loop design enables safe, uninterrupted connection of extension leads or fixed appliances without breaking the seal. Installation requires only basic tools: open housing, insert cables into push-in terminals, close and secure — no torque-sensitive screws or complex alignment needed. Proven for year-round use across diverse damp locations: garden sheds, carports, exterior wall lighting circuits, poolside equipment, agricultural buildings, and industrial perimeter zones where standard indoor sockets would fail prematurely.
