Durable 12V Outboard Speed Selector Switch

Compact unit measuring 4.9 x 5.7 x 7.8 cm (1.93 x 2.24 x 3.07 inches), designed exclusively for 12V electric outboard applications. Supports motor thrust ratings from 28 lb up to 86 lb. Constructed with impact-resistant plastic enclosure and tinned copper wiring for enhanced conductivity and corrosion resistance. Rated for high-current cycling and stable performance at elevated operating temperatures. Not submersible or IP-rated — install in dry, ventilated locations. Provides discrete speed selection via robust toggle mechanism: five clearly defined forward speeds and three dedicated reverse speeds. Each position delivers consistent power delivery without ramp-up delay or signal lag. Wiring follows standard marine colour-coding conventions (red = power in, black = ground, coloured outputs per speed). Commonly used on compact RIB tenders, sit-on-top kayaks and small aluminium fishing boats operating on UK canals, rivers and calm coastal zones.
