Durable ABS Output Speed Sensor Accurate Shifting

Material: High-strength ABS plastic. Function: Provides continuous, real-time feedback on transmission output shaft speed to support accurate gear selection logic, speedometer accuracy, and torque converter clutch control. Part Numbers: 426212H000 (source lists identically — confirms singular reference point). Installation: Drop-in replacement with OEM-matched thread size (M12×1.25 or equivalent per standard), sealing surface diameter, and connector pin assignment. Performance is defined by signal repeatability and environmental tolerance: the sensor sustains rated accuracy across 500+ thermal cycles and maintains output stability after 24-hour salt-spray exposure — benchmarks aligned with European automotive component durability expectations. Its role is foundational to drivetrain coordination, especially in automatic transmissions where precise speed differentiation between input and output shafts determines shift quality and efficiency. Target users include independent garages performing Kia transmission diagnostics, fleet managers replacing sensors proactively before breakdown, and enthusiast owners restoring factory responsiveness after years of wear — all seeking verified reliability without over-engineered complexity.
